Today, July 3, 2013, the pool is gone.  All that remains is mud.  Rain will come.  The question is when.

May 15, 2013, the first waterfall was broad (it is never full save in a flash flood).

By July 3, 2013, the first waterfall has dwindled to a drip.  By late afternoon, something was blowing in.  Will the desert get rain?  Who knows.
